In fact, the Groups stocks up in Italy and abroad, whether directly with its own means and forest operators, and also through a selected number of suppliers who provide finished products to the plant.<br \/>\nThe Group\u2019s activities also developed in the agro-energy culture sector, experimenting the most suitable cultures with the best outputs.<\/p>\n<p>Renewable sources are mainly of local origin, and in order to ensure specific average calories in the combustion process, part of them comes from a few tropical countries and from the Mediterranean basin. These sources consist of wooden chips, made of virgin vegetable materials of multiple origin, and boasting the characteristics imposed by the most recent applicable laws, among which silviculture recycled materials, wood chips, maintenance of rural vegetation, maintenance of fireguard areas, agroindustrial recycled material like marc, artichoke stalk, pruning of olive cultivations, olive residues with and without seed, Palm kernel and almond shells and specific cultivations on marginal land unsuitable for food crops.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/section><section id=\"section-1631201622349-6\" class=\"tab\" data-animation=\"\" style=\"background:; color:;\"><div class=\"infi-content-wrapper\">[vc_column_text]<strong>Our values<\/strong> are based on a shared, dynamic and responsible approach to do business, which combines economic, environmental and social sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>A clear example of social commitment by the Group can be seen from the description of the project in Guinea Bissau, which aims at improving the economic conditions of some villages by supplying machinery to perform production and sale activities of bio-fuels, using palm oil and seed discards (PKS, Palm Kernel Shell) obtained by recycling and transforming production residues. The project was born from the meeting of different stakeholder who deal with the same vegetable product, the PKS, even if with different goals. The stakeholders are Programma Sviluppo 76, the DICAT department of Genoa University, the local partner Amigos da Guin\u00e9-Bissau, the Belgian ONG Codeart and company Sardinia Bio Energy.<\/p>\n<p>Gruppo Sardinia Bio Energy, in addition to collaborate with Programma Sviluppo 76 to activate the project in Guinea Bissau, has constantly shown its interests also in purchasing PKS from operators in Guinea Bissau.<br \/>\nThe association-enterprise relation aims at an equal economic development that includes profit and non-profit stakeholders, it places the beneficiaries at the same level of donors, and provides them the tools for sustainability. The new established relation turns cooperation into a partnership and no longer as an assistance service.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/section><section id=\"section-1631201633524-3-1\" class=\"tab\" data-animation=\"\" style=\"background:; color:;\"><div class=\"infi-content-wrapper\">[vc_column_text]<strong>2006:<\/strong> Foundation of company Sardinia Bio Energy and beginning of the process to obtain authorisations carried out by the management directly, without using a main contractor, but the thirty-year experience of the partners in energy markets.<br \/>\n<strong>2007:<\/strong> Executive and building drawings of the plant.<br \/>\n<strong>2008:<\/strong> IThe management begins the first works on the property land, and begins structuring the company to manage the bio-mass stocking sector.<br \/>\n<strong>2009:<\/strong> The plant is concluded and started-up and the first produced Mw is input in the grid in October.<br \/>\n<strong>2009-2010:<\/strong> Tests and development of the system, beginning of the first biomass imports by sea.<br \/>\n<strong>2010:<\/strong> Beginning of agro-energy tests on different essences.<br \/>\n<strong>2011:<\/strong> The system is fully operative in compliance with the design performances, and at the same time, tests on agro-energy cultures are carried out.<br \/>\n<strong>2012:<\/strong> Start-up of the first foreign sectors, and achievement of the authorisation for the 1Mw cogenerative biomass plant.<br \/>\n<strong>2013:<\/strong> Success development of the first supply chain of raw materials in West Africa.<br \/>\n<strong>2014:<\/strong> Serramanna Energia gets the ISO 9001 Quality Certification for the manufacturing of exhausted olive cake into biomasses for direct combustion and for biogas plants.<br \/>\n<strong>2015:<\/strong> The Group starts the production and trading of agricultural organic fertilizers.<br \/>\n<strong>2016:<\/strong>The Group acquires a company named Eco Conglomerati involved in the production of mixed recycled concrete.<br \/>\n<span class=\"HwtZe\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>2017:<\/strong> The Group begins the registration with the competent bodies of new fertilizers allowed in organic farming without the use of animal origin matrices.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>2019:<\/strong> start of marketing of odorous biofilters and development of new photovoltaic systems<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"><strong>2020:<\/strong> The division dedicated to &#8220;Animal Welfare&#8221;
